Just in ‘Saraki’s brother’ abducted in Kogi

There were concerns on Friday in Lokoja, Kogi State, over the reported abduction of a brother to the Senate president, Bukola Saraki.

A police source told The Nation that the unnamed brother of the Senate president was kidnapped at Irepeni, close to Kabba Junction, Adavi local government area of Kogi State.

The source said the victim, who was kidnapped at about 1:00pm, was heading to Ilorin, Kwara State, from Abuja.

Our correspondent gathered that the abductors have already established contact with the victim’s family and demanded N30 million naira ransom.
