Here are simple healthy tips you can follow in 2016;


Never skip breakfast. Breakfast is so so important.  Most people skip breakfast because of work or weight loss or they are not just breakfast people. This is the most essential meal of the day because it aids good metabolism.

Eat slowly and properly. No rush rush to chop!

Chew your food before swallowing. Yes o

Increase your fibre intake. Eat food with high fibre e.g Nuts

Drink plenty of water. Really important.

Get a minimum of 10-15 minutes of sunlight and fresh air everyday.

Avoid foods and drinks made of artificial colors and sweeteners……Juice instead of coke/fanta

Go for whole foods instead of processed foods. As in freshly cooked foods not Canned food.

Eat at least one piece of fruit daily.

Have a fixed bed time…so true!

Exercise until you sweat once in a week. If you don’t sweat during work out, then you haven’t done anything. Am not saying you should do heavy duty work out, trying running or climbing staircases or skipping for 45mins straight. You will definitely sweat.

Eat three hours before going to bed.

Engage yourself in work you are passionate about. Do something you love to do.

Sleep. 6-8 hours a night.

Try your best and most importantly,   leave the rest for God.
