What this site collects, what we do with anything you send us, and how to ask us to delete it.
Who we are
Beauld Communications Limited (“Beauld”, “we”, “us”) operates this website at beauld.com, with offices in Ontario, Canada and Lagos, Nigeria. For any question about this policy or about the information we hold, write to info@beauld.com.
What this website collects
This site is a static website. It has no database, no user accounts and no server-side form processing. In practical terms that means:
- The enquiry form does not send anything to us on its own. Submitting it opens your email application with the message pre-filled, and nothing is sent until you press send in your own mail client.
- We set no advertising or tracking cookies from this site.
- Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps — which are used for security and to keep the site running.
- Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. Google’s handling of that is governed by its own privacy policy.
The store, the builder and your cart
What you configure in the website builder and put in your cart is stored in your own browser, using local storage on your device. It is never sent to us, never sent anywhere else, and it is not visible to us until you choose to place an order. Clearing your browser data clears it, and we cannot recover it for you.
Placing an order does not take a payment. This site does not ask for, accept or process card or bank details at any point, so no payment credentials are ever handled here. Submitting an order opens your email application with the order written out and pre-addressed, and nothing reaches us until you press send in your own mail client.
When an order does reach us we hold what it contains — your name, contact details, company, location, what you selected and anything you wrote in the notes — on the same basis as any other enquiry, described below. Invoicing, when we get to it, is handled outside this website through our accounting provider and your own bank or card rails.
Information you send us
When you email or call us, we hold what you send — your name, contact details, company and whatever you tell us about your project — so that we can reply and, if we go on to work together, deliver the work and invoice for it. We keep it for as long as the business relationship and our record-keeping obligations require, and no longer.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside Beauld except the suppliers who need it to deliver your work (for example a domain registrar, a hosting provider or a media owner), and where the law requires it.
Services we operate
Our products — VYPΛ (vypa.co) and edimulo (edimulo.com) — are separate services with their own terms and privacy policies. This policy covers beauld.com only.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email info@beauld.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are in Canada you may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; if you are in Nigeria, to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
