Using this website

This website is published by Beauld Communications Limited. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The content on this site

We publish this site in good faith and keep it as accurate as we can, but it is general information about our services rather than advice you should act on without talking to us first. Descriptions of services, capabilities and platforms may change, and nothing here is an offer capable of acceptance or a guarantee of a particular result.

Any engagement between us is governed by the written scope, proposal or contract we sign for that piece of work — not by this page. Where the two differ, the signed document wins.

Prices, the builder and the store

The prices published in the store and produced by the website builder are quoted in Canadian dollars and exclude tax. Naira figures are a conversion shown for guidance at the rate held on this site; the amount payable is the Canadian dollar figure unless we agree otherwise in writing. Prices marked from are a starting point for work whose scope has to be established before it can be fixed.

A configuration you build, and the total it produces, is an estimate based on the information you have given us. It is not a binding quotation and we may correct it if the work turns out to be materially different from what was selected. We publish these numbers so you can plan; we do not use them to hold you to a scope neither of us has seen.

Orders placed through this site

Checkout does not take payment and this site never asks for card or bank details. Submitting an order sends us a request. It is an invitation for us to quote, not an accepted contract, and no agreement exists between us until we have confirmed the scope in writing and you have accepted it.

We may decline or vary an order — if the work is not something we can do well, if a published price is wrong, or if what has been selected will not achieve what you are trying to achieve. We will tell you which, and why.

Orders placed through this site are delivered to payment@beauld.com, and every invoice we raise is sent from that same address. An invoice for Beauld work that reaches you from any other address is not ours — check with us before paying it.

Once a scope is agreed, one-time work is invoiced with a deposit of 50% to start and the balance staged against the milestones set out in that scope. Recurring items — hosting, care plans, mailboxes, screen licences, media placements — are billed in advance for each period and may be cancelled with one month's notice unless the scope says otherwise. Domain registrations are non-refundable once registered, because the registry charges us at the moment they are.

Promotion codes apply to one-time work only, cannot be combined, and are validated again before an invoice is raised. A code that has expired or been withdrawn will not be honoured because it still appeared in a cart.

Your cart is stored in your own browser and nowhere else. Clearing your browser data clears it, and we cannot recover it for you.

Intellectual property

The Beauld name, the beauld comm. wordmark, the palm mark, and the text, design and code of this site belong to Beauld Communications Limited unless stated otherwise. You may read, print and share pages for your own reference. You may not republish, resell or pass off our material as your own without written permission.

Third-party names and marks that appear on this site — including the names of clients we have worked with — belong to their respective owners and are used to identify that work, not to imply any endorsement.

Links to other sites

Where we link out, including to our own products at vypa.co and edimulo.com, those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content of sites we do not control.

Liability

We do not exclude liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this website, including any loss of business, profit or data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction. Where we contract through our Nigerian office, the engagement documents for that work say which law applies.
